She claimed to be an amazing lifestyle guru, until her arrest for embezzlement of clients’ funds. She thought that she could get away with it.
Traccii Show-Hutsona, currently 52 years old, was recently arrested for identity theft and wire fraud to the tune of more than $1 million, which she stole from her clients to fund her lifestyle. Before being arrested on the 27th of February, 2021, she marketed herself as a concierge through a company called Elite Lux Life, where she had access to the bank accounts and credit cards of her clients. She stole money from these clients to fund her upmarket lifestyle.
This mastermind set herself up with the same swanky accommodation that she promised to her clients, and she did this with their money, according to the US Attorney General Audrey Strauss. She thanked the U.S Secret Service and the NYPD, who partnered in the investigation. Traccii Show-Hutsona now faces charges in federal court for her high-flying scheme.
On her Instagram page, she refers to herself as the “Official Breakfast Bitch”. In 2015, she was hired to work as the assistant of Joumana Kidd, the ex wife of Jason Kidd (Former NBA star). It then that she apparently funneled money through a savings account that was intended for the children of the Kidds. She then used this money to fund her own lifestyle.
She apparently got access to these accounts while being an assistant and was eventually confronted in 2019. When she was confronted, she apparently said that she would fix the problem, which she never did do. She continued to use these funds, even after being approached about it.
This was not the first time that Hutsona had been facing fraud charges. She was convicted in Federal court in 2008 for aggravated identity theft and fraud, for which she was facing up to 20 years in prison for the fraud, and 2 years for the identity theft.
The NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said in a statement that he applauded the work of NYPD investigators, the US Secret Service, and the other parties involved in the case against Hutsona. All the different agencies that worked together to finally clamp down on Hutsona are held in high regard. Traccii will be held liable for what she has done wrong for so many years already.
This news actually came in just a few short days after Ann Sorokin, another scammer was released after not even serving the two-year sentence that was given to her for her crimes. She was housed in an upstate prison in New York. She is better known as Anna Delvey, the lady who would scam businesses and luxury hotels out of services and money. Currently she is working on a book deal and was featured on American Greed. Will Hutsona try to do the same?
